He was predeceased by: his parents, Alonzo T. Van Slambrook and Edith L. Van Slambrook. He is survived by: his wife Dianne Hubbard Van Slambrook; his children, Richard T. Van Slambrook II (Donna), Dale E. Van Slambrook (Darlene), Kent R. Van Slambrook (Julie) and Patricia Van Slambrook Oullette (Steve); and his siblings, Barbara Van Slambrook DeLaTorre, Marilyn L. Van Slambrook and Major Donald E. Van Slambrook. He is also survived by grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Fellows, Helfenbein & Newnam Funeral Home (200 S Harrison St, Easton, MD 21601). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 12:30 PM.
