He is survived by: his wife Suzanne Bowie-Stranahan; his children, Deborah Carpenter of Galloway, NJ, Robert Stranahan, Jr. (Don Williams) of Pine Hill, NJ and Andrea Stewart (Carl) of Newark, DE; his stepchildren, Daniel Bowie (Paty), Tiffany Sosa (Eloy) of Wilmington, DE and Alexander Myers (Adrienne) of Elkton, MD; his sister Carol Strannahan of Wilmington, DE; and his former wife Marie Stranahan of Newark, DE. He is also survived by two nieces, two grandchildren, two great nieces, and three great nephews.
