He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Albert Adams and Evelyn Mentzer Adams; his former wife Patsy Fitzsimmons; his sister Bonnie Adams Gurien; and his granddaughter Gwendolyn Adams Spratling.

He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his sons, Mark (Margo) and Craig; his granddaughter Jacklyn Adams Dawson (Charles); and his extended family, Steven, Andrea, Jeffrey, Amanda and Jaron. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
