He is survived by: his children, Robyn Ann Smith of Mechanicsville, MD, David Brian Klages of Dallas, TX and Richard Glenn Klages of Easton, MD; his grandsons, William Russell Klages of Greensboro, MD, Bryan Edwards Klages of Ridgely, MD and Michael Alexandra Smith of Mechanicsville; and his great grandchildren, Hayden Allen Noha Klages, Shala Grace Klages and Riley A. Smith.
