It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sara E. Towers of Easton, Maryland, who passed away on June 13, 2022, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Lee and Sara Stevens Whaley; her husband Robert K. Towers; and her siblings, Mary Ethel Comegys, John Lee Whaley and Ralph Carvel Whaley.
She is survived by: her children, James Carvel Towers (Diane), Robert C. Towers (Debbie) and Jennifer A. Winters (Mark); her sister Constance Fassett (Donald); her grandchildren, Elizabeth Marie Towers, Andrew C. Towers, Sara A. Maynard and Megan; and her great grandchildren, Juliann Towers and Jackson Maynard.
Memorial contributions in Sara's name can be made to Centreville High School Alumni Association CO Jane Coppage 935 Coon Box Road Centreville MD 21617 Services will be held at a later date.
