He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. John Atha and Barbara Odell Atha. He is survived by: his husband Dr. Joseph P. O'Neill; and his siblings, Donna Davitte (Mitch), Karen Lynn (Kelly), Ben Atha (Tracy) and Tomy Atha (Cathe). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
