She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Spence and Mae Spence; and her husband Ira D. Coover, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Ira D. Coover, Jr., Iris Coover, Tambra Evans and Ellen Bossert (Vinton). She is also survived by seven grandsons; six great-granddaughters, two great-grandsons, and several nieces and nephews.
