He was predeceased by: his parents, Bartholomew Joseph Recame and Muriel Recame; and his brother Robert Recame. He is survived by: his children, Bart J. Recame, III (Kathleen) of Christianburg, VA, Nicole Kirby (Eric) of Ridgewood, NJ and Danielle Pierce (Michael) of Reston, VA; the mother of his children Susan Donato Recame; his former spouse Dale Ann Cole; his grandchildren, Carina Recame, Quinn Recame of Christiansburg, VA, John Kirby and Connor Kirby of Ridgewood, NJ; his siblings, Diane Keneally (Joseph) of Sun Lakes, AZ, Maurice Recame of San Diego, CA and Darrelle Gill (John) of Sayville, NY; his nieces, Denise Keneally, Jill Lindsey, April Alvarado, Sommer Iamele and Andrea Goerler; and his nephew Johnny Gill.
A Mass will be held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the Holy Family Catholic Church (826 W Central Ave, Davidsonville, MD 21035).
