She is survived by: her daughter Donna Sowers of Fredrick, MD; her grandchildren, Joseph Tkach of Edgewater, MD, Jay Tkach of Frederick, MD and Erin Sowers of North Bethesda, MD.; and her sister-in-law Sandra Puryear of Fairfax, VA..
