He was predeceased by: his parents, William Marshall Wright and Mabel "Mickey" Johnson Wright. He is survived by: his wife Denise; his daughters, Alix Ekroth and Katherine Murray; his sons-in-law, Matt Ekroth and Palmer Murray; his grandchildren, Emma Murray, Will Murray and Eden Ekroth; his brother William Marshall Wright Jr.; his sister-in-law Karen Webster Wright; and his nephews, Tristan and Peter Wright.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Delaware Center for Inland Bays and the Sarcoma Foundation of America in remembrance of Jefferson V. Wright.
