He was predeceased by: his father James Bieler, Jr.. He is survived by: his mother Elizabeth Faulkner; his wife Stephanie Cupp of Baltimore, MD.; and his pets, Ripken and Natty.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Adam's Grille & Taphouse (169 Mayo Rd, Edgewater, MD 21037).

I felt I learned as much from him as he might have learned from me, maybe even more.
