Kenny Catlett Sr. Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kenny Catlett Sr. (Edgewater, Maryland), who passed away on June 1, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Billy Catlett and Frances Sclater Powell; and his sister Brenda Sue Hayton. He is survived by: his wife Carole Catlett; his sons, William Kenneth, Catlett Jr. (Robin) and Robert "Bobby" Michael Catlett (Angela); his grandchildren, Domenic, Carter, Anthony, Walker and Azalea; and his siblings, Alfred Bradley Catlett (Jane), George Michael Catlett, Frances Karen Morgan, Mary Elizabeth Bishop (Joey) and Teresa Catlett Marshall (Melvin) of Catlett's Service Center. He is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Kalas Funeral Home & Crematory (2973 Solomons Island Rd, Edgewater, MD 21037). A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Empower-Motivation Fitness (online here (https://emfmaryland.org)), or a charity of your choice in memory of Kenny Catlett Sr.
