We are sad to announce that, on May 5, 2026, at the age of 61, Kimberly Ann Eckel of Edgewater, Maryland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her husband Daniel A. Eckel; her sons, Joshua (Elena) of Upper Marlboro, MD, Joseph (Shannon) of Pasadena, MD and Jeremy (Mary) of Preston, MD; her siblings, Eugene R. Best, Jr. of Mechanicsville, MD, Kathy of Edgewater, MD, Karen of Great Mills, MD, Patty of Lusby, MD and Sheryl of Mechanicsville, MD; and her granddaughter Karlee Eckel. She is also survived by loving aunt to her nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
