He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles and Rosalie Ripperger; and his wife Melba "Billie" Ripperger. He is survived by: his daughter Gail Gobbel (Henry) of Edgewater, MD; his sister Jean Rupard of North Beach, MD; his granddaughter Sheli Gobbel; his great grandchild Kaydence Leach; and his friend Jean Schurr.
