Though Robert may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Wilson and Eleanor Wilson; and his sister Mary Ellen Yankowy. He is survived by: his wife Joan B. Wilson; his children, Thomas Wilson (Theresa) of Edgewater, MD and Karen Salehi (Mack) of Davidsonville, MD.; and his grandchildren, Colin Wilson (Ashley), Corianne Wilson, Matthew Wilson and Emily Salehi.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kalas Funeral Home & Crematory (2973 Solomons Island Rd, Edgewater, MD 21037). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
