“She was my friend for a lifetime. One Favorite memory: Leroy Halloween Parade, 1964 or 65. Shannon was dressed like Chatty Cathy, red dress, red velvet coat with fur collar and hat, red shoes, ringlets and beautiful smile. Me, dressed like Yogi Bear, brown outfit, top hat, Yogi mask and bow tie, picnic basket. Shannon won 1st as the prettiest, I won 1st as the funniest. And so our relationship went on for decades. Last outfit she wore with me was my wedding 1978. Kathy Brown Graney, R.I.P.”
