She is survived by : her husband Richard Saari; her children, Davey Cook of Edgewater, MD, Michelle Rednagle of Sunderland, MD, Rebekah Catterton of Arnold, MD, Sarah Hesgard of Fleming Island, FL and Emily Strickler of Crofton, MD.; her siblings, James Schmidt of Grasonville, MD. and Peggy Allen of Grasonville, MD.; and her grandchildren, Brayden, Easton Rednagle of Dustin, DJ, Dominic Hesgard, Camrin Catterton and Jack Berger.

A celebration of life was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Kalas Funeral Home & Crematory (2973 Solomons Island Rd, Edgewater, MD 21037). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the Ft. Lincoln Cemetery (3401 Bladensburg Rd, Brentwood, MD 20722).
