He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Mae and Kenneth Hardesty. He is survived by: his wife Stephanie Colburn; his siblings, Ray Hardesty (Lisa) of Centreville, MD and Missy Coursey (Johnny) of Centreville, MD; his nieces, Ashley Buckmaster, Brittany DeShields and Kayla Hardesty; and his nephew Nick Hardesty.
