Barbara leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Barbara’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Barbara will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Grove Andrew Hoover and Ruby Mae Hoover (Wentz). She is survived by: her husband Gerard Francis Workinger; her children, Suzanne Schafer (Jerome) and Gary Lee Workinger (Robin); and her brother Glenn "Butch" Hoover (Barbara). She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and Feeding America.
