He was predeceased by: his parents, George E. Ellis, Sr. and Lillian Ellis; and his wife Teresa Ellis. He is survived by: his sisters, Patricia Carey (Ellis) and Mary Beth Cavanaugh (Ellis); his children, Margaret Pendagast (William), Laura Weir (Glen), Kimberly Kovack (Jerry), Rosemary McDaniel-Hollenbaugh and George Ellis (Hollie); his grandchildren, Kaitlin Shaw (Glen), Megan Pendagast, Julia Pendagast, Christopher Weir (Sallie), Stephen Weir, Kelly Weir, Ryan Kovack, Lindsay Kovack, Britaney McDaniel, Taylor Hollenbaugh, Luke Ellis, Blake Sheaffer and Emilee Sheaffer; and his great grandchild Theodore Weir. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
