He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hicks and Alice Hicks (Stevenson); and his daughter Dawn Marie Hicks. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ann Hicks; his daughter Lyla Lorraine Taylor (Brian Whalley); and his niece Renee O'Connell. He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
