She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Paul Patterson and Frieda Patterson; her husband Ross Childs; her children, Bill Childs, Susan Childs-Pruitt (Jason Pruitt) and Sandy Clary (Casey Clary); her grandchildren, Ashleigh Cousins, Jennifer Cousins (Derek Volkmer) and Brody Clary; her great grandchildren, Kaden, Jaelyn, Kylen, Colton and Jaxon; and her brother Paul P. Patterson, Jr. (Mary). She was also cherished by other loving family members and friends.
