It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nelson Thomas Spurley Sr. (Elkridge, Maryland), who passed away on July 11, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret; his parents, Melvin Spurley and Anna Spurley; and his siblings, Vincent and Geraldine.
He is survived by: his siblings, Nancy Bellamy, Sarah Sanhaji and Norman Spurley; his children, Nelson Spurley Jr. (Alona), Raymond Spurley (Dianne), Anna Spurley (Edward) and Frank Spurley (Odile); his grandchildren, Zachary Brewer (Krista), Trevor Tripet (Ivette), Jeremy Spurley (Regina), Nicole Pelander (Jordan), Caroline Peredes, Christopher Spurley (Jeanine), Margaret Taylor, Tori Collins (Jordan), Brandon Spurley (Daisy) and Ryan Spurley; and his great grandchildren, Rowan, Cael, Kylo, Simon, Arlo, Nicholas, Zoey, Kylee, Sadee and Carely.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Meadowridge Memorial Park (7250 Washington Blvd, Elkridge, MD 21075). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
