He was predeceased by: his mother Mary L. Cora; his grandparents, John and Dora Cora; and his brother Richard Pindell. He is survived by: his wife Lorraine "Rainie"; and his children, Robert Coburn, Michele Willet, Danny (Kim), Bobby Davis, Kim Mullens, Melanie Reynolds (Kevin) and Pamela Wheeler (Gene). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to his Hospice care provider: Amedisys Foundation, 3854 American Way Suite A, Baton Rouge LA 70816.
