She is survived by: her sisters, Melinda Leishear (Barry Browning) and Donna Poleto (Gene); her husband Paul Ward; her son Jeremy Ward (Amy Shifflett); her grandchildren, Tori Shifflett, Rylee Shifflett, Vincent Corun and Tegan Corun; her daughter Kari Ward (Wade Hackert); her pet Pepper James; and her nephew Trevor Allen.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society in Sharon's memory.
