He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Downey Ewing and Audrey Catherine Ewing (Rose); and his brother Jack Ewing. He is survived by: his wife Ellen Ewing; his son Bill Pipes; his siblings, Rick Ewing, Lou Ann Carroll and Sandy Graham; and his nephew Jeff Ewing.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the R. T. Foard Funeral Home (318 George St, Chesapeake City, MD 21915). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at the Bethel Cemetery (312 Bethel Cemetery Rd, Chesapeake City, MD 21915).
