Bernice Joanne Yoder Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bernice Joanne Yoder (Elkton, Maryland), born in Elizabeth, New Jersey, who passed away on April 27, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Bernice may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Bernice touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Brincks and Josephine Brincks (Kosowski); and her husband Kenneth P. Yoder (Ken). She is survived by: her children, Kenneth J. Yoder (Joann) and Denise M. Erdner (David); and her grandchild Ryan A. Mattern. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the R. T. Foard Funeral Home (259 E Main St, Elkton, MD 21921). A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the "Masonic Village Compassionate Care Fund.".
