She was predeceased by: her parents, Cicero Murray and Wilma Hawkins Murray; her husband Billy D. Mahala; her sons, Jeffrey D. and Barry D. Mahala; and her siblings, Patricia Price and Richard Murray.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Jo Brown (Gary) of Elkton, MD and Scott Mahala of Elkton, MD; her grandchildren, Candace (Jimmy), Tim (Gwen), Eric (Karyssa), Zach, Kate (Drew), Shannon, Morgan and Ashlynn; and her sister Barbara Schmuck of Quarryville, PA.. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
