She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Harrington and Kathryn Lecuk Harrington; her former husband John R. Dickerson; and her husband Robert M. Cornett. She is survived by: her children, John Dickerson of Elkton, MD, Steven Dickerson (Donna) of Mesa, AZ and Mary Kathryn Dickerson of Elkton, MD; her stepchildren, Robert M. Cornett, Jr., Shelly Crocker of Bradford, TN and Raymond Cornett of Elkton, MD; her sisters, Annette Palmer (Rick) of Elkton, MD and Anna Cantler of Elkton, MD; and her siblings' children, Carrie Bradley, Cassie Cantler and Hugh Cantler. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Hicks Home For Funerals (103 Stockton St, Elkton, MD 21921). A prayer will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery (454 Bow St, Elkton, MD 21921).
