She was predeceased by : her parents, Melvin Davis and Bernadine Wells Davis; her son Ron Powell; and her siblings, Cindy, Jimmy and Russell.

She is survived by : her husband Jeffrey Powell; her children, Marie Dockter, Lucas Pollard and Joseph Pollard; and her sisters, Patty and Dawn. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 17th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hicks Home For Funerals (103 Stockton St, Elkton, MD 21921). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 17th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
