He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Carlyle and Pauline Lucy Barker Hash; his daughter Joana "Jody" Kennedy; and his siblings, Ronald L. Hash, Robert M. Hash and Barbara J. Balsamo.
He is survived by: his wife Carol J. Hash; his children, Donald I. Hash, Mary E. Thacker (Jim) and John K. Hash (Cheryl); his stepson Donald L. Hollenbaugh Jr. (Jackie); and his goddaughter Paula Dilks. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hicks Home For Funerals (103 Stockton St, Elkton, MD 21921). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
