She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Charles Hurst Jr. and Grace M. Whitten Hurst; her husband James E. Dellinger Sr.; her son James E. Dellinger Jr.; and her grandsons, Brandon Rhoades and Brian Rhoades.
She is survived by: her daughters, Patricia Rhoades (Robert) of Warwick, MD, Deborah Harris of Newark, DE and Karen Dellinger Gould of Wilmington, DE; her grandchildren, Ashley Nardo, Brett Rhoades, Zachary Harris, Dylan Harris, Matt Dellinger, Jamie Dellinger and Matt Armour; her brother Rick Hurst (Rebecca); and her daughter-in-law Donna Dellinger. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hicks Home For Funerals (103 Stockton St, Elkton, MD 21921). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Gilpin Manor Memorial Park (198 Appleton Rd, Elkton, MD 21921).
