She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Z. Brooks and Ella I. Brooks; her spouse Jimmie E. Whisman; her siblings, Kenneth, Roger, Delmar, Charles and Vina Castle; and her children, Jerry and Linda.
She is survived by: her brother Dale Brooks (Shelley) of Daytona Beach, Florida; her daughters, Kathy W. Watson (James) of Rehoboth Beach and Judy W. Quattlebaum (Danny) of Hilton Head Island; and her grandchildren, Shannon Calcutt (Brett) of Johnston, Danny Quattlebaum II (Jenny) of Mount Pleasant, Lauren Watson (Joe Dannemann) of Nottingham, Maryland, Jimmie Whisman II of Peoria, Arizona, Melissa Rachu (Tim) of Phoenix, Ryan Whisman (Kayla) of Wales, Massachusetts, Rebecca Watkins (Scot) of Bridgeville, Delaware and Jack Baull of Bridgeville, Delaware.. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
