With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Emmitt Eldridge Brockell of Elkton, Maryland, who passed away on August 17, 2022 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles Brockell and Edna Carter Brockell; and his brothers, Richard "Dick", Jack, Edwin and Earl Brockell.

He is survived by : his wife Loretta Brockell; his children, Emmitt Brockell, Jr. (Beth) of Nottingham, PA, Vanessa Foskey (Alan) of Leander, TX and Mark Brockell (Sharon) of Elkton, MD; and his siblings, Vernon Brockell of Elkton, MD and Jo Ellen McClary of Newark, DE. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.
