He was predeceased by: his parents, George Hartman Aurig, Sr. and Hester Hartman Aurig (Rowe); his wife Joan Elizabeth Aurig (Cochrane); and his son George Hartman "Chuck" Aurig, III. He is survived by: his daughter Michele Hofstetter (Frederick); his grandsons, Matthew McKean (Courtney) and Randy Hofstetter (Monica); and his great grandchild Madison Hofstetter.
