Geraldine Anne Long Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Geraldine Anne Long of Elkton, Maryland, who passed away on July 13, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald Arwin Newland and Emily Ida Newland (Quirk); her husband Samuel Joseph Long; and her sister Vivian Bryant. She is survived by: her children, Joseph Long (Tammi), Samantha Long and Sabrina Long (AJ); her grandchildren, Kody Lupfer (Lana), Samuel Ricci (Lindsay), Tabitha Ricci (Ryan), Alexis McMillan (Christopher), Chelsea Rodermeal (Christopher), Joseph Long, Jr., Chloe Shepard (Jacob) and Leah Garcia; and her siblings, Bill Newland (Bonnie), Cassie Clanton and Louise Fenimore. She is also survived by four great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cornerstone Church (3135 Summit Bridge Rd, Bear, DE 19701). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to "Wounded Warriors Project" and sent in care of R.T. Foard Funeral Home, 259 East Main Street, Elkton, MD 21921.
