She was predeceased by: her parents, John Meyer and Elizabeth Meyer (Van Der Ven). She is survived by: her husband Gerrit Hopman; her children, Arthur Hopman (Rebecca) of Elk Neck, MD, Gerry Hopman (Linda) of Palm Harbor, FL, David Hopman (Lori) of Newark, DE, Donald Hopman (Kimberly) of Elkton, MD, Ken Hopman (Angel) of Wilkesboro, NC and Lora Beaudett (Park) of Sudlersville, MD; and her sister Sue Hamilton (Ray) of Marshfield, MO. She is also survived by her thirteen grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Crouch Funeral Home (127 S Main St, North East, MD 21901). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 at the North East Methodist Cemetery.
