He was predeceased by : his parents, Oran Sayers Truitt and Josephine Elizabeth "Betty" Truitt (Howard); and his son Paul Guyer. He is survived by : his wife Patty Truitt; his sister Debbie Van Doren; his son Patrick Guyer; and his daughter-in-law Terza Guyer.
