We are sad to announce that on November 9, 2023, at the age of 92, Joan Margaret Abel of Elkton, Maryland, born in Columbus, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Clyde Trout and Margaret Trout; and her husband Richard L Abel. She is survived by : her children, Richard, Robert, Rock Abel and Randee Abel Hartzell; and her significant other Joseph McKinney. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
