He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Yedinak and Rachel Katherine Yedinak (DeMond); and his siblings, Buddy Yedinak, L. Joseph Yedinak and Carol Dorsey.
He is survived by: his sons, John A. Yedinak, Jr. (Sarah) and Michael J. Yedinak; his granddaughter Alice Yedinak; and his sisters, Patricia Charshee (Kenneth), Diane Moon (Lee) and Brenda Hunt. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to "Singerly Fire Company" and sent in care of the funeral home.
