She was predeceased by: her parents, Roland Simpers and Estella Lotman; and her husband Edward B. Cissel. She is survived by: her children, Susette M. Pfaff (Michael) and Derrick Cissel; her grandchildren, Megan Pyle, Mikaela Pfaff, Joshua Pfaff, Andrew Cissel, Jared Cissel, Austin Cissel, Kira Cissel, Kaden Cissel and Austin Teahl; and her siblings, Elsie Prevento, Roger Simpers and Alfred Simpers. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and many extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Hicks Home For Funerals (103 Stockton St, Elkton, MD 21921). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. Interment will be private. Due to allergies, please omit flowers.
