He is survived by: his wife Sheila Griswold Alford; his daughters, Crystle Alford (Kyle Krammes) of Elkton, MD and Sara Ruggiero (Ronald Andrew) of Wilmington, DE; his grandchildren, Jordyn, Korbyn, Dominic and Dylan; and his siblings, Elizabeth Baker (Shawn) of Wellesley, MA, Charles Alford (Sandra) of Elkton, MD and Susan Haslam (Bryan) of Asheville, NC. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
