It is with great sadness that we announce the death of O. S. F. S. Stanley Joseph Dombrowski (Elkton, Maryland), who passed away on October 8, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact O. S. F. S. had on those he encountered along his journey. Though O. S. F. S. may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Dombrowski and Mary Dombrowski (Kwaitkowski). He is survived by: his sisters, Marcia, Christine and Michaelene. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the St. Cecilia Parish. A rosary will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Oblate Community Chapel (1120 Blue Ball Rd, Elkton, MD 21921). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at the Oblate Cemetery (1120 Blue Ball Rd, Elkton, MD 21921).
As pastor, he participated in almost every parish event, including charity golf tournaments, fashion shows, carnivals, and concerts.
