With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Peggy Lee Benjamin of Elkton, Maryland, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 6, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Sr. Criddle and Alma Virginia Biggs Criddle; and her sister Linda Schaaf. She is survived by: her son George R. Johnson Jr. (Barbra) of Potomac, MD; her siblings, Donald M. Criddle, Jr., Roger E. Criddle, A. Ray Criddle Sr., Sandra K. Mitchem, Jean M. Graham (Russell) and James C. Criddle (Marla); her grandchildren, Aireca Walker, Christopher Walker, Crystal Hensley (Mark), Garid Lee (Sara), Amanda Johnson, Guinevere Johnson and Makenzie Helsel (Brad); and her great grandchildren, McKayla Lockhart (Travis), Savanah Walker, Cameryn Hensley, Gavin Contreras, Avary Walker, Bentley Lee, Marshall Helsel, Ayden Loftis, Emmalynn King, Maelee King and Gatlyn King.
