She was predeceased by: her mother Joyce Sylvia Vess (Mayes). She is survived by: her father Fredrick Lee Vess; her husband Dan Heishman; her children, Jay Heishman (Katherine Beck) and Megan Heishman; and her siblings, Gary Vess, Steven Vess and Glen Vess. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made payable to "Senior Dog Haven and Hospice, Inc." and sent in care of the funeral home.
