He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Benjamin Peletski and Mary Peletski; his spouse Nobuko Yamabe; his daughter Theresa Shiplett; his son-in-law Scott Shiplett; his sons, Stan Peletski and Carl Peletski; his daughter-in-law Linda Peletski; and his grandchildren, Danny, Matthew, Joe and Mary.

It was Carl's wish that any memorial tributes be made in the form of charitable donations to The American Legion.
