Though Deverie may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She is survived by: her parents, Robert DuVal and Carolyn DuVal of Charlottesville, VA.; her husband Eric Peter Jensen; her children, Ryan Eric Jensen and Lauren Caroline Jensen; her brother Jeffrey Scott DuVal (Lindsay DuVal) of Falls Church, VA.; her nieces and nephews, Mason and Parker DuVal; her siblings-in-law, Laura Jansen (Charles Jansen) of York, PA. and Michael Jensen of New Mexico; and her pet Oliver.
We created a memorial fund in memory of Deverie Jensen to honor her life and support the causes that she cared about such as research for triple negative breast cancer, education and a local animal shelter.
