He is survived by: his wife Rosemary Ross; his daughters, Rosemarie Combs, Sharon Martin and Gina Powell; his son-in-law Keith Combs; his granddaughters, Robyn Combs, Katie Sappington and Jennifer Cianferano; and his great grandchildren, Abigail Sappington, Victoria Herndon, Ryan Sappington, Aubrey David and Isabella Cianferano. He is also survived by his loving family and friends.

Donations in his name and memory can be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
