It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ian Hill of Ellicott City, Maryland, who passed away on May 3, 2026, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Ian shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Ian farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his wife Josephine Hill. He is survived by: his children, Diane Hill Schienle, Steven Hill and Debbie Hill Strauch; and his sister Judith Ryce. He is also survived by loving husband and devoted father, mentor, and role model to his three children, as well as a beloved grandfather to his four grandchildren.
