It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Frederick Hawes of Ellicott City, Maryland, born in West Palm Beach, Florida, who passed away on July 11, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his father Wesley Hawes. He is survived by : his wife Gwennette Hawes (Potts); his children, Jean (Jim) of Baltimore, MD, Jim (Christine) of Ellicott City, MD and Tom (Sheri) of Columbia, MD; and his granddaughters, Alison, Alexis, Tess and Kailin.
